I remember this from years ago - it was on Pantera's 'Vulgar Video'. Takes me back a bit.

Those guys were taking a risk cos Yng is a big lad. He gets a bad rap because of his percieved ego but its all an act. I was introduced to him a while back by a friend who works for arbiter and picked him up from the airport a few times for promotional stuff and fender clinics, once he knows you play guitar and can talk shop he drops the facade and becomes a real nice guy. I have met him several times since and he is always great and chats for a while. He really does not deserve all the crap he gets about his ego it really is just an act. When talking to other guitar players he is a pretty humble guy actually.

Once thing for sure though He really DONT LIKE DONUTS LOL
Now Burgers .. Thats another thing.

Agreed. I can't think of another guitarist on the planet who comes in for the amount criticism that Yngwie does. Without him rock guitar playing wouldn't be where it's at today. ;)

Yngwie certainly does come across as having an ego in interviews etc sometimes, but it never comes across to me as intentional or as him really having an ego.
