Progress is indeed beautiful, this makes me want to experiment guys.
The story is explained in full in the video if you would like to skip strait to it, but the concept is basically this:
Audi had a car commercial done and this experimental form of classical music was written. At first it was only 30 seconds long, and it had many people searching and contacting Audi and even the composer for a full version of the song. Long story short, after 2 years, they decided to go full-blown with the entire version of the song.
I remember sitting on the porch smoking a cigar when I heard the music on the television and it near brought a tear to my eye, I was forced to rewind(thank you Tivo) and find that it was an Audi commercial, and thus I later found that others had done just the same.
Here is the original 30-second version that started it all:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQyTAVQH0nc&fmt=18And finally, here is the official extended version. (2:19)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-wV4bovN-Y&fmt=18One could argue perfection through modern technology, it seems all hope for Classical music isn't gone eh?
