This guy came to town on my B-day, and I had heard of him before, so I thought I'd check him out. I was completely AMAZED by his skills! At first, I thought he was just your run of the mill pentatonic blues player, but he melted my face off with his melodic shredding - and his improvising skills were phenomenal!

The link above is a studio version of his song "Sloe Gin". It's pretty nice in the studio, but you can't say you've heard him until you've heard - and seen - him live!

So if he comes to your town, you should definitely check him out.

Yeah, I've been into Joe Bonamassa for a good while now. Great guitarist and definitely my fave blues player at the minute. :)

Yeah - cool player. IbanezDaemon turned me on to him a while back. He has great chops and emotion and great note selection. I've seen some live footage of him and was really blown away, but would love to go to one of his gigs.

Glad you've heard of him! You guys have probably listened to him longer than I have, got interested only a couple of months ago.
