Yeah man, I got a bit of a shock when I flicked on the news this morning. A real shame. I quite liked a lot of his music. I'd say it was medication that brought about the cardiac arrest.
R.I.P Michael.

Whoa, is that true for reals? Such a shame; though his commercial life was a huge downhill in his later years...
I, too, enjoy a lot of his earlier music. He had a great voice back in the late 80's.

Shame...he had good songs.He's pop king. :(
RIP

One of the three pop musicians I respect.
The only Pop musician I LIKE.
:'(

It's a real pity he died. It seems he abused of medicine or take some morphine: he had a leg broken some weeks ago. A great voice since he was a child, specially in "Off the wall" and "Thriller", with plenty of fantastic songs. Later his music went changing to "disco", but he was a great artist.
It's so sad his challenge on returning had to end this way...

I think it sucks even worse than if he died a while earlier because this was right before his comeback...

  One less child molester off the streets. In case all of you have forgotten. It seems the media did everything they could to remake his image in death. When he was alive he was a freak.I admit his first two solo albums in the late 70's were great. Some trash was taken out and some children were saved.Thats all that happened

Too bad that none of the allegations were ever proven true. In fact, there was a startling lack of evidence, in that they found absolutely none. Plus, the kid that started the whole thing, Jordan Chandler?
He lied. If you want more links, google it.
Oddly, it seems like your thoughts perfectly reflect something that I saw on Fox News...the loud annoying guy?
He looks a little something like this.
Steve5513 - July 14, 2009 04:46 PM (GMT)
I'd like to point out that not only did the child admit to lying but also that the childs father was known for going round to celebrities and begging for money off them.
Wow that guy in that link is a dumbass.
Jackson changed his skin colour because of a skin disease.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VitiligoHe had quite a severe case of it. The skin disease that is.
Also he says Michael was selfish for spending money on himself and yet a hypocrite for singing "We are the world" which is utter garbage, because he's basically saying Michael should have gave everything away, why would you expect anyone to do such an irrational thing. That Bill guy is just clutching at straws to desperately come up with ways to put down Michael.

:P Typical retorts from mind numb robots of public education who only repeat what has been pounded into thier rather small and unenlightened minds.Taught what to think and not how to think. It does'nt matter to me what yall think. On that point i guess his sister lied. The canceled checks for rather large sums of money must have just been for friendship for the weekend.Does'nt matter to me.He was just a person who reached amazing success.More power to any who can. That is what we all want to acheive. He was not a GOD just a person who had a screwed up childhood and became even more screwed up in his older years.

Your thoughts on MJ are illogical. No evidence to prove he was a pervert. Yet evidence proving he is innocent yet you still claim that this is rubbish and he is a pervert.
One could take the road of saying that just because it's in the media doesn't make it true which is correct in some circumstances, but all of this is true because not only would the media not be allowed to lie about a court case (Doing so would be illegal) but if what you're implying is that there are things that we don't know about then i'm going to ask you to prove it.
Obviously the judicial system is not 100% correct everytime, but fact is, you still have to go by what it says. Not doing so would just open up Anarchy.
I present the following question to you: What evidence is there proving MJ is a Pervert? Give me your evidence, and why you beleive he is a pervert.
(Also, who said he was "GOD" anyway?)
Also, there's really no need for insults here.

That's pretty cold. Being happy someone died because you think he is a molester is just pathetic. You don't have any proof of it and he was proven innocent in the court of law.

I thought i made my points quite succinctly. We would'nt want to truth to get in the way of the facts would we?After all we being man,as some put it are the highest authority in the entire universe.I seem to remember a case awhile back.Thats right it was OJ.Proven innocent and we all see what that brought about.Stating an opinion does not imply emotions. If i was happy about his demise i would not have offered up the praise that was due him.Just so you know as i stated before,i have and bought at the time his first three albums on vinyl.Words mean things. Many on this post do not want me or anyone else to interpet thier post or imply what was'nt even stated. That just proves my other point. No matter how smart we think we are we are still just human.Time to crank up

Goddammit, that's funny.
No matter how much you claim that others have small minds, accepting media-whored conclusions without valid evidence is absolutely a case that you haven't opened your mind yet. In fact, by siding with the conclusion preferred by the media for many years, you are indicating that it is actually you that is repeating what you have been told to think, and is getting pissy when the media doesn't agree with you anymore. Believing that something you think is true, doesn't make it true.
In OJ's situation, I cannot safely say that he did it with perfect certainty (can you?). What I can say is that there was evidence for his conviction, that the case was completely mishandled, and that he's been doing some stupid stuff since then. Even if I may have a "hunch" that suspects that he may have done it, I cannot say for sure. Once again, can you?
Accepting conclusions without evidence doesn't make you "smart" or "ahead of the small minded sheep", it just makes you look unreasonable and unintelligent. By the way, I went to private school for eight years.
Muramasa - July 14, 2009 07:16 PM (GMT)
Althought MJ was declared innocent, who knows what happened?
Anyway, why focusing on him?
Child molestors amongst religious people are usually allowed by continue with his religious "afairs" by the Catholic Church: they send him to other places and thatīs all, and noone seems to care about that. They are not declared innocent, like MJ was, but the Pope recently had to apologise of this crimes. Often they are not judged by civilian tribunals too.
If MJ is being constantly attacked for this, why people who allow or allowed religious molestors countinue working isn't? Catholic church has had plenty of molestors and noone is going crazy about it.

This is so sad, it's the first time someone is showing off in this forum. Do you think people here are stupid?
IbanezDaemon - July 14, 2009 08:11 PM (GMT)
Robots of public education? Mind numb? Like Lektro I too have a private school education behind me, in fact I was taught at one of the top schools in the UK so where do your assumptions that we have all had public educations come from?
People on this forum are far from stupid. At least we can give respectful, well timed and considered opinions unlike the rather bullish approach that your posts in this thread seem to adopt.
