Title: Favorite Musical Reference In Pop Culture.
Description: Name yours, post a vid if you want!

Well I've seen many of my favorite bands referenced in pop culture, one of my favorite moments is when Homer Simpson is in the car with his son Bart and Bart's friends and names off the members of Grand Funk Railroad. (If anybody knows where this clip is on the internet post a link if you want, because I can't find it). As well as Bart (I believe) answering the phone in his school hearing Ted Nugent on the other end encouraging the legalization of guns in the school to protect children from charging elk. And you can't forget the Rock Fantasy Camp episode!

Several more of my favorites are in the TV show King Of The Hill:
The manager of the propane dealership in Whiticha Falls wearing a Grand Funk Railroad shirt, and his son wearing a Pantera Shirt.
Bill mentioning meeting his wife at a Molly Hatchet concert.
Bill mentioning making most of his life's decisions at a Foghat concert.
Hank meeting Willie Nelson.
Hank meeting Charlie Daniels.
Hank's cousin being Dusty Hill of ZZ Top.
Willie Lane playing Free Bird at his party all night.
Tom Petty guest starring as Lucky.

Nigel Tufnell's reference to Bach and Mozart on being interviewed about his classically inspired ballad 'Lick My Love Pump'!

Well, there are obviously a lot of metal references in Metalocalypse, but I loved it when they had a store in the background called Necrophagist.

Recently I saw an episode of the Simpsons with a cool Zappa reference. They were in the stamp museum, with a sign that said "The Fathers of Invention", and scribbled on top was "and the Mothers".

That's my favorite.

"Apocalypse Now" has songs of The Doors in very crucial moments (and when starting); it fits very well with the film.
Rolling Stones "Satisfaction" also appears in a very ironical scene: a messge to all soldiers by radio tell them not to hang the clothes in windows and such things just to keep Saigon "clean".
