lol, another one.

sorry

another korean asshole on Facebook

My friend's friend wanted my phone number, and I said no.

He sent me a message saying that if I don't tell him my phone num, he will hack into my computer. He says that he knows my IP address. I don't think he's lying.

It IS possible to hack into a computer jsut with and IP address.

he kinda said it like " give me your phone number or else I'll hack into your computer, I know a bit about computers, so gimme your number bastard/asshole/fucker/whateveryouwanttocallit

I told him that he was threatening me, and I said that it was cyber-bullying. I told him that I will report him if he didn't stop.

He told me to go ahead and report it.

and i did.

and now he is harassing my in all sorts of ways.

He still wants my number.

I already reported it to facebook.

should I call the police?

I just had a conversation, and now he's saying that he'll destroy my hard drive.

lol

Look, you can tell that to police, but youre already reported to facebook, they will finished it.
First, its very simple to find out someones IP adress,i did it many times. But,its very hard to hack in someones computer with that, because there are no software you can use for that, and if he want to hack you over open share he had to know aloooooot about that.Trust me,he is some kid for shure who watched hacking videos on youtube, and all videos on youtube are crap. There is no reason for to be nervous.its better find him and kick his ass.

Yeah, IP numbers are pretty easy to get, nothing special about it...sounds to me like he's full of crap. But if you want to be safe, just install a firewall like ZoneAlarm or Comodo. And block him on Facebook and live your life in peace :)

Just ignore the kid. Anyone who says they can do this and that without any proof, is simply an ass.

It's extremely hard to hack into someone's computer with only an IP. If it was easy, everyone's computer would be hacked in no time, because the IP's are left around the internet.

By the way, although threatening on the internet is illegal on paper, it doesn't help much to complain about it. There's basically nothing the police would do in a case like this (as if they were up to go after every kid acting cool on the net). If Facebook ignores it, just leave the kid be. It's something that's easy to learn and everyone who goes about the internet should know.

You also have to wonder why someone with such great hacking skillz needs to bully someone for something as simple as a phone number?
