Title: Marty Friedman scales

So I have always loved world music, and I know several traditional japanese scales. What I am wondering is if anybody knows and patterns that Friedman himself uses. I know he built his own based on the sound they made, and they came out very similar to real japanese scales because thats what he was going for. Are any of his exact patterns around, does anybody know anything about them?

It may be hard to get the exact patterns. He likes his exotic scales for sure. I think there are some vids of him on youtube were he shows these scales/patterns.

Marty uses the Hirjoshi and Minor scales alot. I know that much about his playing.
