We'd need to know what level your playing is at. How long have you been playing?

I almost mastered sweep picking, and I don't think I suck for my age.....

Maybe about 1 1/2 years?? Not sure

I started in 3rd grade but didn't learn much until 6th grade.

You've played for 1 and half years and you've almost mastered sweep picking? I'd say it takes some 10 years to master it or so.

As for the song... just pick any song you like and think is suitable for your skills. Yngwie among many others has many great songs to learn.

O.k. With all due respect you don't think that maybe you are going in a little over your head with attempting to play Yngwie and Michael Angelo songs after you've only been playing a year or so. In my opinion at your level you are better off learning the scales that those songs are built around and when you have become very proficient at them then you can tackle the songs themselves. There is no point in just learning one difficult tune if that's gonna take ages to learn and then find that's all you can do. Learn the component parts to these songs i.e the scales and modes etc then you'll find you can rip out a whole variety of songs like the one's you have mentioned and not just those two. Hey maybe you can play Yngwie stuff already but have you really got it down in such a short space of time? Congrats if you have!! :)

I agre with Ibanezdeamon...It needs some time to play malmsteen,batio,becker...
Maybe you can try Tony Macalpine-tears of sahara,Marty friedman-Tibet and angel. Its good songs.

Maybe you can also try Malmsteens-fuguetta,it isnt hard.
Keep on rockin :)

What IbanezDaemon said. When learning Malmsteen, Becker or anything at that level, it's best to learn the patterns, scales and arpeggios that make up those songs before trying to tackle them.

That also...I mean other thing.
I remember when i practice becker and malmsteen paterns and arpeggio.God,that was big job...

Then i practiced Playloud,it has great things. So i was in malmsteen alot.It wasnt hard for me to play his songs after, but i practiced alot.
As the Batio sais "Practice,practice,practice".
