Title: Transcribing Violins
Description: How do you do it?

Ok, so I know a lot of neoclassical metal guitarists have transcribed violin licks into tabs for the guitar, one problem, I can't read sheet music, much like Skwisgaar Skwigelf, I to suffer from music dyslexkia, but on a serious note, I'd like to know if there was any formula to it, if not, is there a website where I can punch the notes on the sheet music in and guitar tabs come out? haha, I'm sure there's people that like speak sheet music as a language going "you idiot!"

In the long term the most benificial thing to do is actually transcribe what you hear into guitar tab.

This isn't the easy route, but will improve your ear training a lot. Transcribing fast parts may be tricky but there are loads of programs to slow down audio without changing pitch. Even Windows Media Player (version 9 or 10 or higher) has this function.

You can use:

1. Your ears
2. music notation
3. guitar pro/tabs

If you learn the music staff, you don't have to memorize the notes or anything, just count up, and you can transcribe notation to tab if you know the basics.
