im just curious if anyone knows of an album of Classical (bach, motzart, vivaldi etc.) done in the Neo-classical gutiar style? i have been looking all over the net and all i can find is less than brutally epic attempts made on shitty youtube posts. im looking for video or album... any idears?

:)

UPDATE: ok i think im going to approach this a little different.

hows about everyone name an artist and the classical piece they do, and that way i can go out and get the individual files :):)

Uli Jon Roth-Metamorphosis. He does Vivaldi's Four Seasons
Uli Jon Roth-Transcedental Sky Guitar. The first cd is dedicated to all the great Classical's.

Yeah those are two great albums and definitely worth checking out. I can't think of any other full albums that would fill your criteria but some other artists who have done Classical pieces in a song format are At Vance, Patrick Rondat, Vitalij Kuprij and Borislav Mitic.

super sweet, thanks guys!!! ill download those tonight :) i find myself more inspired by these types of pieces or ones that emulate that "classical" style, as apposed to the speed demon doodleedoodleedo kind of "speed/black metal" shred.

thanks again :)

so i checked it out, i was only able to get the phoenix, but it was pretty kickass!! that was kind of what i was looking for, but he kind of flows in and out of a large portion of the songs and throws alot of his own stuff in there. not that i didnt enjoy checking out a new shredder, maybe im approaching this post wrong... how about everyone names off classical piece and the artist, and that way i can go get the individual tracks, and im sure ill hear about a whole bunch of new people!!

Lanny Cordola does a badass version on Marriage Of Figaro. I used to have it but must've pawned it for more shred at one time or something. It was on DC++ a while back on metal gods or something. It is really good though, it makes you grin ear to ear at how he rocked it up.
