I came across this interesting item on ebay. A neck played by Yngwie which has come from a guitar he smashed onstage then tossed into the crowd. I'm not overly confident of it's authenticity though. Anyway it'll be interesting to see how much it goes for.

That neck doesn't look scalloped to me then again I don't think the Yingster would smash up a YJM signature model. The bid as I type this is £41 (about $80).

The thing about this is there is no way of authenticating it and the seller has given a very brief outline of the item. I mean anyone can go out and buy a cheap copy Strat, smash it then stick it on ebay. Actually now that I come to think of it...... :P

Don't think it will get past the reserve unless the seller shows some more detailed photos. Judging by the fender sticker on the trem plate if the Yngmiester did use it, it was just for smashfodder!

On the money Hurricane. I think that's twice now that it's been listed and hasn't met the reserve. If I was this guy I'd join an Yngwie forum and advertise it on there. I'd say you could get some pretty decent results doing that.
