What a classic... Wasn't even close to being one of the first songs I heard by him. Long live T-Mac... such an emotional song! It isn't to tough on the brain to learn either, and great to improv over.

Definitely not... I would NOT be surprised if some of his fans didn't even know that... that was for one Vai tour. Macalpine has been in soooo many bands lately, and they are all great but his first 2 solo albums where definitely what he should be known for. Macalpine has played keyboards for EVERY BAND... and when I say that I mean EVERY BAND... he has been around!

Yeah and I enjoy his music much more than most of Vai's. I don't know why that is. I guess it helped playing with Dave Lee Roth and being in the movie "Crossroads".

Agree with acdc. It was sad to see such a great guitarist having to spend so much of the set as a backing musician. There is no better guitarist than Tony MacAlpine and trust me I've been listening to all of them for over 20 years now.
