Joe is one of my favorite players. He is very melodic and a great songwriter. Plus he does the G3 jams with other awesome players like John Petrucci,Paul Gilbert,Eric Johnson,and Yngwie.

I really cannot say that I dislike any solo guitarist at all, I rarely dislike music at all. I really do love Satch, however for me I don't rate him at the top of my lists...

His very first album is my absolute favorite... Not of This Earth... masterpiece

Anyways, my favorite performance is definetly 1988 montreux Jazz Festival. His tone is just spot on and his tunes are fantastic... I urge every guitarist to watch this clip of "Memories" its just perfect....
