Title: Fretboard Inlay Poll
Description: Vote for your fave inlays.

Okay guys here you can vote for your fave fretboard inlays. Sorry if I've omitted any in the poll but the list was off the top of my head.
My vote goes to the Ibanez Sharktooth inlays, it was a close call between that and the 'Tree of Life' but for ease of use the Sharkies take it although you do get used to the Tree of Life pretty quickly.

I was torn between the Tree of Life and Pyramids, but then I realised PRS's Birds was on that list.

I love the Pyramid inlays on the original Jem 777s. I'll have one in Loch Ness Green please!

No fret markers, looks pro in my opinion

I'm not completely sure about this, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I read somewhere that Jackson had originally designed the Sharkfin inlays then Ibanez adopted it and made the shark tooth inlay?
Anyway, the sharkfin won it for me. Block inlays came close in second.

I wish Ibanez had a better variety in color with it's inlays. I always thought it would be sick to have Red inlays with a black border or vice-versa. Maybe since they are called Himalayan inlays elsewhere, they could make them look more like mountains.
Also has anyone seen the new Jem? I love the tree of life one that one.

Lol, I love Becker, but his guitars are too expensive. I wish ibanez had done it for him. I bet the price would have been less and it would have had a super tiny neck.

You're right. the Jackson sharkfin inlays were out ages before the Ibanez Sharktooth. I suppose you could also say that Jackson copied the inlays from Rickenbacker although I am not sure if Rickenbacker were the first to use that type of inlay.
