Title: Guitar Solo Poll!!!
Description: Vote for your fave solo!

Three solos, similar vein, one question..which one gets your vote??

3 of my fave solos here that I always thought shared a similar vibe, great phrasing, feel and emotion. Have a listen to all 3 tracks and rate the solo.

I was seriously torn between Suffer me by Yngwie and Pablo Gilberto's Technical Difficulties solo, really can't seperate them as I love both equally but Malmsteen's fade out solo on the Alctrazz track just shades it for me. That is the best solo I have ever heard and has just the right blend of spped vs emotion as well as incredible phrasing. David Chastain, shredder extraodinaire called it the 'Perfect Guitar solo'.
So Yngwie takes it for me but hell it might be the Gilbert solo tomorrow!! ;)

Dave's solo by far. Funny, though, I never noticed how similar the three are.

I love the Gilmour solo and Comfortably Numb is one of the greatest rock tracks of all time. I can't help thinking that Yngwie and Paul were influenced by Gilmour's solo when they came up with theirs.

Speaking of fade out solos I would have included this solo by Vinnie Moore if it hadn't have been too damn short. One of my fave Vinman solos. I used to be able to play this, learned it when I got the album way back then. I think it's played using D Harmonic Minor, that's off the top of my head guys and I don't have a geetar close to hand as well as having far from Absolute pitch as well so don't shoot me pleeeezz if I've got that wrong!! ;)
