Title: Anyone dig Marty's alt. stuff?

You know, Music For Speeding, Future Addict, Loudspeaker... anyone dig this stuff?

I did listen through his discography quite a few times, but never got into those albums listed. Introduction remains my favorite record from him.

I've got Music for Speeding and Loudspeaker. They are both good albums but I have to admit I don't listen to them on a regular basis like I do with Dragon's Kiss.

Dude, at this moment, I am giving The Natives Are Restless a listen all the way through for the first time, and this shit's a treat. Never thought of it until now, but anyone listen to it?

I don't think I've ever heard Hawaii's stuff save for some song on YouTube. But now that I think of it, Marty must've been really young back then: barely twenty.

I love those albums but still reckon Dragon's Kiss was his best moment. I'm pretty sure that a passage from one of those early Hawaii tracks resurfaced some years later on Cacophony's Speed Metal Symphony.

I love those albums. I like Loudspeaker in particular. Elixir is an awesome song.

Loudspeaker for sure. And man, the Hawaii stuff is a trip. Hearing Marty before his playing was really... Martyesque. Crazy balls. I dig Dragon's Kiss, but I don't know if it's his best work. He's come so far since then, and I'm usually a fan of an artist's most technical work, so I don't even know if I have a favorite. But this Hawaii stuff. Ha. Man.

From his pre-Cacophony days (haven't heard much of it) I like Rhapsody in black and Overture volcanica. As for the new stuff I like a couple of songs from loudspeaker and tokyo jukebox, haven't listened to future addict.
