Title: Should I get the PGM300RE?

Orzandotl - June 20, 2010 10:41 AM (GMT)
I tried it out at a guitar store but they didn't let me use a pick!

The thing that worries me is the fact that the guitar is fairly limited and I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get replacement parts in the future.

Also, the sides of the neck were kinda messy and there was a hole at the end of a fret wire. ( Does it matter? )

Oo

I'm sure it isn't a fake/copy .

I'm definitely getting a guitar this month.

The PGM was the the only guitar that suited me at the store ( there weren't many "Shred" guitars. ) Although I found the neck a bit thin, I like the fact that this guitar doesn't have a tone knob :D

Thank s:D

Are you limited to buying a guitar only from the store that is local to you?

I think they are great guitars although they are a bit overpriced considering that here in the UK they cost £1699 but you can pick up a good condition/mint used PGM300 for around the £700 mark.

The condition of the neck/frets would be of concern to me. If you're paying that sort of money for a guitar you'd expect the it to be finished immaculately.

There were 200 PGM300RE's made in total. Replacement parts won't be an issue as it has the Lo Pro Edge bridge which is very common and you can get parts for it should you need them very easily.
