What's so amazing about a 12 year old shredder?
I guess I'm not surprised is that the fact I'm almost 15.
I would be surprised by his player if he did some Chopin stuff.

What's amazing is that the guy is a damn good guitarist at such a young age.

Heck, there's musical prodigies that are younger than him. I'm not impressed. I guess you guys are amazed because you're older than me.

Can I ask you why you think I would be more amazed by this guy because I am older than you? ;)

The classic "man, I wish I was like him at that age".
Lolz. I'm just playing with you.
I saw that guy do a Paul Gilbert song. It was pretty cool. he did it for MI.

The same kid plays
here. I was really awe-struck.
It takes nothing but a lot of practice, but the kid's going to make it big if he keeps doing that.

Great playing, he is also very clean!!
Even if I don't think in the age of the player, I must say he played very very well. Now he has the technique (everyone can improve, but he has more than a consistent basis) : what direction will he take with guitar?
I hope he won't suffer the envy of some people like Mattrach did: I remember reading awful comments on YT, clearly motived by envy and frustration of many writers.
But if so, surely he won't care too much, like Mattrach did...

I agree Muramasa. He is a very talented guitarist. Now he can he switch from imitation to innovation?? That's the key for me.
