Title: Guitar Nine Records

Have any of you guys ever checked out Guitar Nine Records??? We're all guitar players on this site and most oif us love the old instrumental shred albums but I can't help thinking sometimes that we do limit ourselves on this site to the standard Gods of Shred like Yngwie, T-Mac, Vinnie Moore, Jason Becker etc. There are soooo many more shred/neoclassical guys out there that I have come across whilst browsing through Guitar Nine Records. Not only that but if you're looking for something different there's piles of other instrumental guitar cds for sale on there from Flamenco to Fusion, Blues to Jazz, Progressive to Classical.

I'm certainly gonna start buying from this site a bit more and have set myself a target of buying 1-2 new instrumental guitar cds that I've never heard before every month.

Check out Guitar Nine Records in the link below, there's plenty of sample tunes to listen to before you buy as well.

You know you are absolutely right ID - I myself don't really listen to many up and coming players. I tend to just listen to the classic shred albums if I listen to metal orientated guitar music.

Mind you I tend to go for jazz stuff when buying CDs thesed days.

I've been to the guitar9 site before and listened to some clips of some of these guys and there is some good stuff on there.

Yeah there's a whole pile of relatively unknown guitarists on there so I'm gonna give it a shot, buy a pile of cds and hopefully I'll discover some great new albums/players. I'm gonna probably buy from outside the shred/neoclassical genre as well. It would be good to get into a few different styles.

If you one into any good Fusion players, tell me ok.
I'm gonna check out the website for myself. The columns on there are interesting and worth reading.
