Title: Perpetual Burn Album

IbanezDaemon - March 28, 2010 07:08 PM (GMT)
After the release of the Cacophony 'Speed Metal Symphony' album guitarists Jason Becker and Marty Friedman released their respective solo albums with Jasons being Perpetual Burn.

I bought this album along with Marty Friedman's Dragon's Kiss. I think on it's release Jason was still only 18 or 19 years old. This is definitely one of the best instrumental Neoclassical guitar albums of all time in my opinion. I'll rate it at 10/10.

Though I can't say that I frequent the album a lot anymore, it still remains one of those very few albums that still get a 10 from me.

Such a wonderful album filled different styles and genres. I love this album. Though I think I like Perspective a little bit better.

Jason once said some of the names are just weird names that came to him.
Eleven Blue Egyptians is named after the 11/16 time signature, Blues Section, and Egyptian sounding intro.
