Title: Trilogy Album

Released in 1986 'Trilogy' was Yngwie Malmsteen's 3rd solo album and like Marching Out featured a more song orientated approach. Mark Boals replaced Jeff Scott Soto on vocals. The Johansson brothers remained though and Yngwie handled all Bass guitar duties as well.

This is probably my favourite Malmsteen album and for me features his best song writing to date. I thought Mark Boals did an excellent job on vocals, very Graham Bonnet-esque imo. Some great guitar work here and the album features the track 'Trilogy Suite', imo still the best instrumental guitar track of all time. A great album with a cool but very ostentatious cover, lol!. Easily a 10/10 from me.

Yngwie at his fastest for sure and good vocals as well. A more 80's inspired album than his first 2 albums. I'll give it 10/10

The very first Neoc. album I heard, remember I listened at it in a walkman until the cassette went broken. No need to say that is one of metal best works ever.
Today, its a 9 for me. I specially like songs like "Fury" or "Fire", not only the instrumentals. But "Queen is in love" is still a bit softer; Nowadays I would have liked some parts of this album to be a little faster and furious. Clean guitar work is amazing too.

Yngwie is the first teacher I've got...listening to his songs all day long and trying to play over. It's a 10 for sure..so much memories with this one...and rising force!
