Title: Edge of Insanity Album
IbanezDaemon - February 23, 2010 08:00 PM (GMT)
Released in 1986 'Edge of Insanity' was one of the first releases to challenge Yngwie for the Neoclassical Guitar Crown'. All instrumental the album features Billy Sheehan on Bass and Steve Smith on drums. Amazing guitar work on this and Tony also plays a Chopin piece on piano. I bought this album when it came out and it probably remains my fave T-Mac recording to date. Definitely 10/10 for me!!

Haha the cover is funny. 9/10 for me. Empire in the Sky is amazing but the album overall is definitely weaker than Maximum Security.

Aren't there two picture for that album?
My song on there is Agrionia.
With better recording, the album could have been as good as Maximum Security.

Awesome album! 10/10. I particularly love the title track and The Taker. Mr Sheehan plays some nice bass on this album too.

8/10
Nothing mind-blowing, but good stuff nonetheless.
EDIT: I know I can't change the vote, but I'll have to say that after giving the album a listen for the first time in ages, I must change the rating... for the worse. I can only give it a 7/10.
Sorry, guys!

First I have to say that I liked more Maximum Security. When hearing this album, I have to think about the fact that this album was released more than 20 years ago... I think the phrasing is a bit plain and the album isn't specially loaded with good tracks; nothing specially suggesting for me. Anyway, that's not fair: is old. But I don't have to think the same when hearing Perpetual Burn or Trilogy: they're old, but still awesome.
Edge of Insanity is a 7 for me, maybe a 6'5.
