Just saw Jeff on tv 2 weeks ago and loved it.
I like his stuff. But I don't like his tone so much. I hate the distortion they made back in the 60s and 70s. Just horrifying to my ear. Kinda bad cuz when I listen to Jimmy Page's distortion I get disgusted. But there are some of his songs with his tone being great.

Nice piece, very emotive. I always thought that Jeff Beck was by far the superior guitarist to Eric Clapton although Clapton got much more critical acclaim than Jeff.

I agree with you totally. I prefer Jeff Beck to Enoch Powell fan Eric Clapton.

Jeff Beck is amazing, great phrasing. I think he was probably the first guy to use the whammy bar in an expressive manner.

Jeff Beck is one of the most respected guitatists by other professional musicians.
