Well the 'Design a Jem' contest rules have been officially announced by Ibanez:
http://www.ibanez.co.jp/JEMUV/contest.htmlMy question to Ibanez is: Why all the restrictions? Where's the opportunity in 'Carte Blanche' here?
I suppose as always it's a case of:
YOU ARE FREE TO DO WHAT WE TELL YOU!!!!

The rules concerning monkey grips and all that is just stupid. Way to go, Ibanez!
Anyways, if you participate, do you have to create the design with some picture editing program and send it as a pic file? I'd love to participate, but I suck at using Photoshop to no end.
I think you can just draw it out and mail it or scan it and email.
I'm thinking of trying out. Just gotta sit down and draw something.
What is the template thing for? I can't remember why they had up there.
I understand why they had stuff like don't add logos from other companies and don't put anything discriminating on it. They could simply be sued plus Steve is going to use the guitar on stage.

You are supposed to modify the template for the design.
