Title: Your Spiritual side??
IbanezDaemon - February 11, 2010 07:51 PM (GMT)
Any of you guys into things like meditation, yoga, reiki, lucid dreaming, astral projection etc. I've been putting off attempting to take up something on a spritual level for years upon years. I'd love to get into something like this but I'm afraid I look at everything with a very sceptical mind, read up to much on science over the years so I've an argument basically which shoots down all these claims of enlightenment etc, lol!! I'd love to be more open minded and in tune to these things I suppose.
So list your weird/spiritual/enlightening/diabolical hobbies here!

I'm a Christian so I guess praying to God is my spiritual side. Reading the Bible as well.
As far with ways to relax, ambient/psychedelic/space music with lights out can be a very enjoyable experience. Exercise (or drugs) beforehand can help the process.

G'day ID,
You should read Esther & Jerry Hick's "ask & it is given".
Meditation is good, because when one meditates one brings the mind(the thinking machine) to rest. When your mind is at rest, your vibrational state automatically rises to that which is natural.
The whole universe is like a television set plugged in this constant source of power supply(God). God is the Source of everything. God is the flow of current that powers everything in the universe.
Everything in the Universe is Energy. Every single one of us is an extension of Pure Non-Physical Source Energy(God). Since God also happens to lack nothing, He is Well-Being(or the source of Well-being). Hence Well-Being is the Natural order of the Universe. And Well-Being is your natural order. Meditation helps you rise to your natural order.
Another good book: Charles Haanel's Master Key System.
Cheers
P.S. -Everything in the Physical realm has its basis in the Spiritual.
-Hm.. I read this somewhere: "Enlightenment is not something to be reached, not something to be gained. It is just the removal of erroneous concepts, attitudes and thoughts. It is making the mind silent. That is all."
-Christ is Dynamite!

I don't exercise anything spiritual, as I'm agnostic. However, I do like to read about spiritual stuff and all; I'm really into philosophy.

The most spiritual experience I ever had was when i did LSD. I became one with everything, and the colours and everything were just amazing.

Sounds amazing. But the acid casualties is pretty high so I'm not sure it is worth the risk of a possible amazing experience.
