Title: Mind's Eye Album

IbanezDaemon - January 27, 2010 12:28 PM (GMT)
Mind's Eye was Vinnie Moore's debut solo album released in 1987. For me this is still Vinnie's best offering to date. I heard a track on a radio Rock Show when the album had just been released and went out and ordered it the next day. The album also features amazing keyboard work by Tony MacAlpine and also has Tommy Aldridge on drums and Andy West on bass.

This is probably my fave album of all time so it's gotta be a 10/10 from me. I'm pretty sure that I've listened to tracks from it every week for 23 years and I still never tire of it. :D

It's great but I prefer Time Odyssey. They are both 10 rating albums imo. After that, Vinnie Moore couldn't make another 10 rating album imo. The Maze maybe a 9 though.

It's the album that really got me into shred in the late 80s and I still listen to it regularly now so its gotta be a 10 from me.

The Maze and Defying Gravity are my two fav Vinnie albums! I don't even particularly like all the songs off Mind's Eye, but I still think it is a 9/10 album.

I really like this album. It gives away a very strong vibe in the songs. Saved by a miracle is my favorite song on there.
