THe high e string snaps quite frequently and it's bugging me. It snapped again today.. the string was 1 week old lol ( 1 week on my guitar that is.. )

I don't think that my bends are too harsh. - Should I try another gauge?
I'm using a 9 - 42 ATM.

Does snap when you're tuning the guitar? Does snap when you're doing whole bends? I had the same string on for months. I use ernie ball super slinky.
I think it might be that you're bending way to high or the string is a bad quality brand.
Try out other guitar strings and compare.

How many hours a day do you play? Try picking softer.

Ermmm... Check that you don't have a sharp edge on your high E string saddle????

sorry guys I guess I was a bit vague. \

- It snaps where it's "tied" to the ball on the end.

The string snaps when I'm just playing normally.
