Well Ibanez have decided to release a new budget Jem for 2010. It certainly seems at if it will be an improvement on the 555 series. I'm assuming it's gonna be a MIJ model and I think it actually will retail at around £700/$1000 less than the Jem7VWH. It's way overpriced if you ask me.

The guitar features the original Edge trem, Basswood body, Maple neck with NO vine inlay, V7, S1 and V8 pickups....Hold on, barring the Monkey grip and neck dimensions isn't this just a glorified RG550? :huh:

Just as the writer said, I'd rather get a used high-end RG.

They look so god damn boring too. Bring back the funky coloured jems of the late 80's!
