You could try 'Tears of Sahara' by Tony MacAlpine. That's not an overly difficult track to play.

That was a good enough attempt on the clip you posted. You need to work on your vibrato a little. Still good playing considering you'd only just learned the piece.

It's pretty great. The only thing is your distortion. It doesn't sound ear taking.(I'm quite picky on tones) But as for the song I liked it.
But that doesn't mean you did horrible.

April Sky from Vinnie Moore isn't that hard. It fuses 2 pieces from Bach along with a great guitar solo that would be very difficult but the main melody isn't that hard.
