he says if you pull on the strings, your guitar will automatically go back to being tune. Is this true? If so, how do you do it exactly?

I think it was kind of a joke..
But if you got a guitar with no locking tremolo and the string`s pitch is to high, you could pull it to loosen it a bit, tune it down.. Or a guitar with locking tremolo, and the strings are new, and may be a little sharp, then u could pull the string to try to stretch the string and get it down to normal tune..
But tuning it up, no way.

Most likely a joke.

If only it were true!! Then I'd be a bit happier with those pesky floating bridges. ;)

yeah they are horrible when you tuning them. I hate it that it's easy to break your strings when you putting them on. Plus it takes along time to restring and tune too.

I have a floating bridge and have had no trouble with it :P

My edge 3 which i've had for nearly a year (and the guitar is 3 yrs old now '08 model) does something similar to that but only my 3rd string (G-string for lack of better words) super wierd. all my other string would be in tune butthat one string will be flat or sharp.
