Title: Yngwie Pedal section

IbanezDaemon - October 18, 2009 03:53 PM (GMT)
Always plenty of requests for pedal tone licks here so I thought I'd fire up the intro to Yngwie's I'll See the Light Tonight Solo. Pretty cool piece this and not too hard though there are is some tricky quick position shifts on the high E string. Give it a go guys!! Check the vid below. The section in the tabs below is from 17-30 seconds in on the vid.

Neat technique, though I've gotten tired of those endless harmonic minor pedal point licks that many players rely on too heavily (looking at you, Yngwie).

That section is one of the first peices by Yngwie that I learnt when I started getting into Shred. Ah happy days!

Same here HK. This and the intro to the Disciples of Hell solo.

Ye know its funny - I'd completely forgotten that I knew it until I started playing through your tab ID. I'm a bit rusty on remembering bits out of Ynwie tracks as I don't really listen to his stuff very often.
