Yeah I guess we could use one for this forum as well. It hasn't been active and I would like to learn some more new neo-classical bands and songs. Here is one of my favorites.

I the melody involved there, and it was definatly worth a listen to :)
I also quite liked how it actually went into the song.

Man I must have been living under a rock for the past 20 that was my 1st listen to him but most def not my last :) That was some near perfect playing! Sweet 9½ out of 10 :)

I bought a catalog from Shrapnel back in the 80's and thats how I got turned on to new guitar players, some sucked (Bernrd Stidel) but most rocked, this next guy was not really neo-classical but his playing was nice, he did try once to attempt an Yngwie type song (sounds like Yngwies Liar to me) but this song has some nice guitar work in it! Enjoy

Excellent track from Ozzy. There is a dark quality about Ozzy's frist 2 solo albums that he's never quite managed to recapture since. 10/10 for that tune.

njrusmc - November 18, 2009 09:57 PM (GMT)
Great tune ID. The song got a little repetitive for my tastes, but the lead work was very refreshing. Unique with a variety of techniques, good mix of harmonization, and great ending transition back into vocals. 8/10

Okay i havent posted here in a while guys thanks for teaching me about modes and stuff im really advancing can now solo pretty well as long as making some good power metal riffs but.

here is my rating outa 10 for the song above me-
4

Im not really into like actually symphonies i like metal influenced stuff like yngwie, not really complete orchestrated stuff.

Now rate this one- The Crusade, Trivium.

It is 8minutes of insanely amazing riffs mixed and i would say is very neoclassical ish
